BYD receives “Top Brand PV Storage Europe” industry seal |

BYD Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rechargeable batteries, is delighted to receive the recognition as “Top Brand PV Storage Europe 2023” along with “Top Brand PV Storage 2023” country seals for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark and Sweden (further countries still in evaluation). The award highlights the best-in-class companies out of the eyes of installers on country and regional level. BYD is the first storage solution provider this year to receive the industry seal of approval for the European region after having been recognised as “Top Brand” for more and more countries. To qualify for the “Europe” seal, the storage provider had to be ranked with a top market distribution within the sample group, high recommendation and brand awareness results in at least 8 European countries. In 2022, BYD was the only storage brand to receive this European Seal. Download Attachment |

BYD Battery-Box Premium APP “Be Connect 2.0” Released with New Functions |

Thanks to the hard work from the engineering team, we are happy to inform you that our new version of app, Be Connect 2.0 (Android version, 2.1.0) was released at Google Play Store. What’s New Functions in “Be Connect 2.0”? • You can read the real-time events and historical events of the product. • You can upload diagnosis information of the product to BYD server with one-click for the reference of BYD After-Sales Service. • You can read the Service Guideline and visit the Battery-Box website in the APP. • You’ll receive the firmware updates and other notifications from BYD. Additionally, the UI (User Interface) of new version is more user-friendly. The reliability and smoothness of the APP have also been greatly improved. Be Connect 2.0 (iOS version) is also coming soon. You are welcome to download the new version. Feel free to send us any comments or suggestions in e-mail to bboxservice@byd.com, or BYD local service. The combination of products which creates a powerful and flexible AC-coupled residential energy storage system has obtained the UL9540 certification. Use the Premium HV Combiner Box for the parallel connection of 2 or 3 Battery-Box Premium HVS/HVM Towers, it provides a simple and safe solution for the DC cabling connections. BYD announces compatibility of Battery-Box Premium series with Kostal and reports increased delivery rates in 2020 |

| Shenzhen/Munich, April 23, 2020 – BYD Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rechargeable batteries, announces the compatibility of the latest generation of its modular and highly efficient energy storage system line Battery-Box Premium with the KOSTAL Plenticore Plus and Plenticore BI product line. At the same time BYD reports that Battery-Box production numbers and deliveries from the factory are continuously increasing from Q1 2020. For Q2 2020 the company projects the numbers to triple compared to 2019. The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and related temporary shipment restrictions for some regions will therefore be compensated promptly from the very well-stocked warehouses around the world.
